888 Announce Paypal Payment Now Accepted
March 1, 2009
888 have made a bid to reach out to a whole new audience of players, offering a wider range of payment methods, with the widely used Paypal option now available.
Players will be able to fund and withdraw cash from their accounts using Paypal.
The 888 group are the first network that have offered this method, with Pacific Poker heading the poker aspect of the move.
Its estimated there are 70 million Paypal members and the company are aiming to reach out to that audience with the promise of ease of use.
Brand Marketing VP, Matt Robinson from 888 released this comment:
“We consistently challenge ourselves to reach the highest performance level we can, and we continually question the way we do things. This strategic alliance with PayPal is yet another clear example of putting customers first and it provides them with yet another way of depositing and withdrawing funds from their 888.com accounts.”
We at thatsGambling feel that this is going to boost player numbers across their networks massively.
What do you think?
Think this will move across the board of all poker providers?
