The prize for the tournament will be a red Corvette that has been restored to its 1970’s former glory and the new commemorative trophy, Binion Cup.
Pollock also said
The Binion Cup was created to honor our heritage, I am proud to say that Jack Binion himself, poker’s patriarch, will be on hand to present the trophy.
With the tournament set to celebrate 40 years in the running, the brand have decided to give the public extra participation in this years schedule, allowing them to place suggestions for players who should make it into the Poker Hall of Fame.
Suggestions are been taken from May 26th to July 2nd, when a panel of 12 living poker players who are already featured on the list will cast their votes for who should earn the right of passage onto the exclusive list.
